DAY 1 ULAANBAATAR

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Upon arrival at Chinggis Khan International Airport in Mongolia, you will meetwith our driver. Transfer to your hotel, settling in.After freshening up, at 12 pm we start our first day around Ulaanbaatar, we will take you in the restaurant of your choice and then we will visit Gandan Monastery, the largest and one of the most important monastery of Mongolia. From here we will go to the National History Museum which tells the rich history of Mongolia. The heart of Ulaanbaatar, Sukhbaatar Square. Here we will see the Parliament House, National Opera and City Hall. In the evening, you will attend a performance of traditional dancing and khoomii (Mongolian throat singing). Overnight in hotel.

DAY 2 IH GAZRIIN CHULUU

At 9am, your tour guide and driver will pick you up and our trip will start to Baga Gazriin Chuluu N.P. This is rocky Small Mountain and beautiful landscape which consists of many shaped specific granite rocks and mineral springs in the bottom land. We will reach Ger camp near Baga Gazriin Chuluu around Lunch time. After having lunch, we will explore surrounding area. Overnight in a nomadic family ger. (B, L, D)

DAY 3 YOLYN AM

Travel to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa). The scarp of Tsagaan Suvarga is located in Ulziit sum. It is interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, which from a distance seems to be the ruins of the ancient city. The cliff is 30 meters high and 100 meters wide. Over thousands of years the wind has created this amazing structure. Travel to Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park where we will enjoy remarkable Yolyn Am an exotic setting of green meadows and dense glaciers situated deep within the arid Gobi. Overnight in a ger camp. (B, L, D)

DAY 4 KHONGORYN ELS SAND DUNES

Today, we will drive through the wilderness of the Gobi to the extraordinary of Khongor, which is one of the most scenic areas of the Gobi Desert. This impressive white sand dunes stretch more than 180km and highest point is around 300m known as Duut Mankhan.
Upon arrival at the tourist camp near to the sand dunes, we will have lunch and time for relaxing at cozy Ger camp until Gobi hot temperature decrease.
In the late afternoon, we will visit local camel herder family in their gear, and explore their unique nomadic lifestyle. Then, we will ride a camel and explore the area from the camel back. Around the area is the perfect place for camel riding. Mongolia is home to 2/3 of the two-humped Bactrian camels in the world. It is a gentle, calm and extraordinary patient animal.
Afterwards, we will make a little excursion to a beautiful green oasis of Seruun Bulag near the Khongor River and sand dunes. Then, take a little drive to the highest point of sand dunes known as Singing Dune and climb up to the Duut Mankhan.
When it is windy some of the dunes give a strange sound like the engines of an aero plane. From the top of the sand dunes, the view of the desert is awesome and a breathtaking view. If you want, we can see the amazing sunshine panorama of sand dunes from the top.

DAY 5. ONGI MONASTERY

Nestling on the south and north banks of the Ongi River bend, Ongi was one of the important monasteries in the Gobi desert - consisted of two separate monasteries connected by a bridge. On the southern river bank was 320 years old Hutagt Monastery comprised of 9 main temples, plus small temples and stupas. The Balim Monastery was built relatively late about 240 years ago on the northern bank of the river and consisted of 13 main temples except for the other constructions, stupas, etc.
The monastery had 4 religious institutions and housed by over 1000 monks at its height. Unfortunately, no temple remained after the 1930s communist purge except for a stupa.
In 1990, few monks returned the monastery and completed a small temple in 2004

Travelers visit a small ger museum showcase some artifacts found at the site, explore the ruins covering an expanse area, and climb one of the nearby hills to see the impressive views of the ruins, the river, ger camps, and the surrounding area.

DAY 6. BAGA GAZRIIN CHULUU

Travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Earth Stone) little mountain of Middle Gobi. Excursion to Earth stone, a sacred rocky mountain, 1,760 m above sea level, famous for its unique rock formations and beautiful natural environment. Overnight in a nomadic family ger. (B, L, D)

DAY 7. HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK

Travel to Hustai Nature Reserve to see the Przewalski wild horses, re-introduced back into the wild in their native homeland. Visit the local information center to learn about the history of the last pure wild horses and the history of the area. In the evening you have chance to go horse riding. Overnight in a nomadic family ger. (B, L, D)

DAY 8. TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Terelj National Park, one of the most visited sites near Ulaanbaatar. Terelj is set in the picturesque valley of granite mountains and the beautiful Terelj River. Transfer to a tourist ger camp. We will then visit the Turtle Rock and the Temple of Meditation. Hike around. Overnight in a nomadic family ger. (B, L, D)

Gorkhi Terelj National Park is located 65 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar by paved road. High granite stone mountains with forest-covered northern slopes, multitudes of wildflower meadows along with the spectacular shape rocks formed by wind is a favorite scenery for the visitors. Fast-flowing rivers and streams make the national park more beautiful.

An average altitude of the 293.168 ha national park is 1600 m above sea level and the highest point is 2664 m Avkhan mountain. The national park is one of the most visited national parks due to its close location. There are numerous ger camps and resorts in the tourist zone before the Terelj River.
